We have already passed women reservation bill in Upper House and would soon be introducing it in Lower House. Not far are the days when the women of India would be completely empowered. They are still empowered. See they are intelligent enough to have their seats reserved in Public Transport buses; even in metro rail. And yes the reservation should be there, especially in Indian society where people do not miss a single chance to indecently assault a woman. Women of India condemned Raam Sene in Bengaluru when they were denied entry in pubs. They stood up united, they fought for their rights and yes they succeeded. And why not women have RIGHT to go to pubs, bars, discs and wherever they like. After all we are an independent nation. Women today are joining civil services, they are becoming judges, magistrates, and moreover they have succeeded in getting permanent commission in Indian Army. That’s great, that’s an achievement.
I collected some of the rare pics of EMPOWERED WOMEN OF INDIA. Just spare some time for them.
The Employment of Manual Scavengers and Construction of Dry Latrines (Prohibition) Act was enacted as early as in 1993. It provides for imprisonment up to one year and a fine of Rs.2,000 or both. However, According to official report, there are around 115,000 manual scavengers in India. The unofficial report put the numbers much higher.
HALF OF THEM ARE WOMEN ———–
THE WONDER THAT IS INDIA!!!!!!!!!!
